Scott Gordon
Scott is a semi-retired elementary school teacher, former house-framing carpenter, and philosopher focused on philosophy-based counseling and improving trauma recovery methods. His research explores the connections between mind, body, and spirit to support faster healing, incorporating techniques like Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) and Dianetics, which he mastered during his time in Scientology before leaving due to corruption concerns. Scott pioneered a non-religious, common-sense use of repetitive Socratic questioning—adapted from Scientology auditing—to create gentler trauma therapies that reduce retraumatization. His approach moves from general conditions to specific traumatic incidents, helping individuals overcome trauma, fears, and disabilities to achieve personal and collective freedom.
